Potato Paradise

Wish You Were There!
The get-away was really good. The starting already was an adventure; when we shopped at Carefour for groceries+beer($180buckeroos)
We left the city at late evening on a ferry. I was kinda happy i didnt offer to swim it took us 20minutes to get there. The chalet was pretty big and equipped. While Eugene had a tour around the house by friendlyman, we stocked up the fridge and checked out their lagoon which was scary & filled with crabs.(ade didnt notice the barnacles yet)

Ack, we spent five days doing nothing.
Nothing = Eating, Sleeping, Watching Tv, Swimming, SunburnTaning + some classic boyband singing sessions
The eating part was good. We did the cooking and Ade was in charge of the dishes. She did well, even taught me the art of scooping up clogging-shit. *clapps*

It was all good...
if you didnt talk about the near experience of a slippery death and almost being irritated to death by killer-but-oh-so-polite flies+nagging. Pretty much enjoyable if you dont think about the terrifying experience of swimming in deep dark waters to retrieve floats and manAde-eating barnacles. It was really great if you ignored the severe cold and the ever-so-consistant 5minute naps/room service/whatever. (:

Two times i crossed the seas for a vacation in 3years.
This has got to be the best. Thanks Eugene (:
I hated smelling like a kiwi though.
